Alhambra Creek Watershed Interpretive Panels

Completed
With support from CCRCD, Alhambra Watershed Council (AWC) developed and installed four watershed interpretive panels at sites in downtown Martinez and East Bay Regional Parks. The panels educate people about Alhambra Creek and the concept of a watershed. They help readers envision how the creek and riparian corridor traverse the land, and how watersheds connect communities. CCRCD, AWC, and the Friends of Alhambra Creek led educational activities based on the interpretive panel themes.
