In-Stream Flow Enhancement
Pescadero Creek Streamflow Enhancement Project, Carpy Ranch

Post-Implementation
This project improves water security and water use efficiency while also enhancing instream flow conditions for salmonids during low streamflow periods. The project has accomplished these goals by:
1) Constructing a new agricultural reservoir that allows the farmer to avoid pumping from the creek (forbear) during periods of critically low flow, and
2) Upgrading irrigation infrastructure, improving efficiency and thus reducing water usage.
