Planning/Design
The Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District will work with growers in the district to develop one (1) Carbon Farm Plan (CFP), which will identify practical opportunities for carbon sequestration and reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on their land and will include an implementation plan.

Project Themes
1. Develop the first Carbon Farm Plan within the District of the Upper Salinas-Las Tablas RCD by engaging and partnering with an interested grower.
2. Achieve quantifiable carbon benefits by developing and initiating implementation of a Carbon Farm Plan (CFP).
3. Cultivate new carbon farmers and grow the statewide carbon farming network by demonstrating and communicating to new growers and ranchers the multiple benefits of carbon farming to local communities, agricultural production and the environment.
