Green Valley Creek Rural Water Conservation Project

Implementation
The project will implement four water conservation projects, consisting of agricultural and rural residential rainwater catchment and off-channel water storage systems, along a critical 2,000-foot reach of upper Green Valley Creek, each designed to eliminate or drastically reduce May-October alluvial well withdrawals by providing a total of over 250,000 gallons of water storage. Water will be collected and stored during the winter rainy season and stored for summer/fall dry season use.
