Agricultural Lands Best Management Practices
The Sonoma Resource Conservation District (RCD) worked with four vineyard properties in the Sonoma Creek Watershed to install a total of 82 best management practices (BMPs). These practices were originally identfied from LandSmart plans completed by RCD staff and were aimed at improving water quality, groundwater recharge, water conservation, habitat enhancement, and drought and climate change resiliency.
