Wildfire Mitigation
This project was in coordination with the Department of Forestry and Fire (CalFire) in regards to providing a fuel break in the China Gulch area of Redding, CA. This project was one of the Governor's "45-Day List" high-priority fuels projects. The fuel reduction area covered 525 acres. The goal of the project was to remove dead, diseased dying, decadent or dense trees and chaparral species within the fuel break area. The project accessed almost 200 individual private and federally-owned parcels to complete the work.
