This mitigation project is in response to CalTrans Hat Creek Bridge replacement. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife issued a permit stating that an off-site mitigation area be created to allot for habitat loss. This entails installing and maintaining plantings within a 1 acre area at Jelly's Ferry located in Tehama County, CA.
