San Gregorio Creek Habitat Enhancement Project- Phase 1

Completed
San Gregorio Creek is home to endangered Coho salmon and threatened Steelhead trout, however, the watershed is lacking in good and complex habitat for these important species. In order to restore habitat in this important stretch of creek, we constructed 12 natural forms using locally sourced trees. These structures, which were constructed along a 2,000 ft stretch of the creek, will improve habitat for all stages of Coho and Steelhead and create 8 pools and enhance existing pools which are important to fish habitat.
