Tally Ho Creek Riparian Habitat Restoration

Completed
The project will implement the mechanical and manual removal of cape ivy along a 1-mile reach of Tally Ho Creek, a tributary to Arroyo Grande Creek, followed by revegetation of the riparian corridor with native species. In addition to restoring pollinator and CRLF habitat, the project will address the effects of channel modifications, floodplain encroachment, and increased sedimentation from upstream sources on Tally Ho Creek. Restoration will include: repair of an extensive head cut, excavating a low-flow channel and modifying the grade of the channel. The project is set to go to construction Fall of 2023.
