Freedom Greenhouses Pollinator Habitat
Project Overview
Basics
Completed
This project planted 90 native plants, donated by Xerces Society as part of a Hedgerow kit, including grasses, shrubs and forbs. These were planted on an organic herb farm that produces culinary herbs for national distribution. The farm owners had done a lot of pollinator plantings previously, primarily lavender and other mediterranean plants. This planting was used to re-establish plantings in areas where die back occurred and incorporated more natives.
