Grub Creek Fish Habitat Enhancement Project
Project Overview
Basics
Completed
The goal of this project was to improve salmonid habitat in Grub Creek by increasing instream complexity and cover throughout the project reaches. Structures were designed to increase frequency, length and depth of pools, improve gravel deposition downstream of scour areas, and encourage the formation of a single-thread low-flow channel (to maintain pool connectivity during the summer low-flow season). A total of 12 LWD structures have been installed in the project reach.
