Outreach and Education
The inaugural Alameda County Watershed Confluence Conference took place on October 17, 2018 at the Oakland Scottish Rite Center. The event provided local groups, community members and representatives from the public and private sectors interested in creek and watershed health the opportunity to meet, network, share innovative ideas and inspire new partnerships in watershed management in Alameda County. The program emphasized three themes: Management, Science, and Collaboration. Presentations were wide-ranging and intentionally selected to represent areas throughout Alameda County. The event included a poster session, sponsor tables, awards, and networking opportunities.
