Invertebrate (Insect, Crustacean) Habitat Restoration
This project will remove invasive species to promote biodiversity and habitat resilience in coastal San Mateo County, CA. The restoration site is located along Arroyo Leon Creek, in the vicinity of the Higgins Canyon Road Bridge at the historic Johnston House property. The proposed project scope includes up to 3 acres of invasive species removal. The project will improve California Red Legged Frogs (CRLF) and San Francisco Garter Snakes (SFGS) breeding, foraging, sheltering, migration, and/ or dispersal habitat.
