Biomass Utilization
Basics
Biomass Utilization
Outcome
Ton (tons)
Amount of biomass material used for energy generation, forest products or other purposes that would otherwise been left or burned on-site. Utilizing biomass improves air quality, can be used as an alternative energy source or stored long-term in timber products. This helps reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) and other pollutant emissions.
