CARCD WCB Oak Restoration and Management

Implementation
To conserve/restore critical live oak woodland habitat, our project includes 3 elements:
1.) Oak restoration at Trippet Ranch in Topanga State Park to include planting and caring for 150 oak saplings over a 3-year period.
2.) Oak restoration at Nicholas Flats in Leo Carrillo State Park to include replanting 300 oak saplings and caring for remaining oaks from burned over areas over a 3-year period.
3.) Development and implementation of a citizen science program to aid in identifying, detecting, and responding to invasive beetle infestations.

Both oak plantings were developed as extensions of past restoration work completed at each site, and incorporates past successes and lessons le
